VISA & Travel Information

Flights
Please note that travel should be routed through to Cape Town International Airport, South Africa (Airport code -CTIA). Most principal airlines fly into Cape Town.

VISAS
Each country is to ascertain whether entry visa is a requirement. If required, delegates should make visa applications in good time. ALL PASSPORTS MUST BE VALID FOR AT LEAST 30 DAYS AND HAVE AT LEAST TWO EMPTY PAGES.

Immunization Requirements to Travel to South Africa
The only current requirement for travel to South Africa is a Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate from certain foreign countries. Each country should ascertain whether this is a requirement.

Custom and Immigration Clearance
The Host will facilitate the Customs & Immigration clearances at the time of arrival and departure. Please note that all media-related items need to be declared and a separate form is required to enter with such equipment.

Medical Facilities
Medical Facilities will be available. The cost of treatment of conditions other than those which are routine and minor, is the responsibility of the delegate. We wish all delegates a healthy stay.

Insurance
All delegates are encouraged to take travel insurance.
